The Lake Garda is the most mediterranean of the Italian lakes. Nature, culture, sport, gastronomy and tradition provide a rich program during the whole year. The “King of the lake” is the wind, which blows from the first hours of night until noon and is called “ Pelér”. In the afternoon starts blowing the “Ora” from the south.
The lake is known as one of the paradises for Surfing, Kitesurfing and Sailing. Along the lake goes the new Biketrail. More than 10 km of security for bikers and Joggers.
With a modern Aerial ropeway you can reach the “Monte Baldo” (1800/2218 meters), which is also known as the “Botanic garden of Europe” for its high concentration of different and often rare plants. The Monte Baldo is furthermore an ideal area for trekking, mountainbiking and paragliding. During the winter it is a great place for Skiing...with lakeview!
